Can images bring us together? 

In the midst of a period marked by isolation and social distancing, we chose to work on bonding. We created sets from a series of photographs of each other, with a particular attention to detail and environment.

Cutting, editing and collaging, we played with resonances between the images, brought gestures together and established contact points. Through this process, we have sought to rehabilitate the sense of touch and to assert the ties that bind us.

 

This publication was realised by young people from the EMPRO Emile Ducommun in Fontenay-sous-Bois (94): Natacha CHANAL, Kera EKANI, Annaïs TIEHI, Allayi COULIBALY, Lenny JEAN-BAPTISTE, Kamilia SEBBAR, with artist-photographer Safouane Ben Slama and teacher Judith LEIBOVICH.
