INCARNER UNE HISTOIRE

CONSTRUIRE UN FEU (6’51’’)

SEGPA* Year 7 students from the Collège Pilâtre de Rozier, Paris, 11th arrondissement, with  Valentin Pinet.

*Adapted General and Vocational Education Departement

The students freely interpreted the adventure short story entitled To Build a Fire and written by Jack London in 1902. They recounted the story in their own way, with a background set composed of a collection of photographic images. The main character's introspective quest has led them to learn how to express emotions and create an atmosphere in filmmaking.

This film was realised by SEGPA Year 7 students from the Collège Pilâtre de Rozier in the 11th arrondissement of Paris: Bintou BALLO, Abdelkader BELHIA, Losseni DORE, Anny EKOMBA ONYENGO, Saimon FASSIL, Moussa FOFANA, Darius-Marcio KOMA-BONDUNGU, Lorenzo MEVIL, Terence MUKELENGE, Adlan MUTUSCHEV, Bakeba SOUARE, Safaa TIOUTI, Vincent TOLZA, with film director Valentin Pinet and the teachers Marie Brignole and Sophie Dubreuil.
