Young people from the Ateliers Médicis of Clichy-sous-Bois and Clichy-Montfermeil (93) with Randa Maroufi


Youtubers, Instagramers, influencers... The group identified self-representation on social networks and the exploitation of one's own image as a perspective of fame and professional future, and as the focus of their project. The artist Randa Maroufi and the team of La Fabrique du Regard then asked the group to present the world of influencers. Each of them compared different types of videos, analysed their format and their conventions, sometimes dictated by advertising requirements. The young people thus identified the false pretenses of these self-images tied to commercial obligations.
